Sikless/Kori Trek

4 Days

Overview

Sikles Trek, also known as the Kori Danda Trek is a recently opened trekking location in the Annapurna region. It is a four-day camping trip to the traditional Gurung village in the Annapurna region, which lies east of Pokhara and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and terraced fields. the hike’s starting point is Kalikasthan village after a 3-hour drive from Pokhara.

The second-largest Gurung community is fascinating due to its distinct culture, ethnic language, and way of life, as well as the trailside rhododendron blooming in the spring. The journey’s highest point is at Jhakarphulan, 2600 m.

You’ll also visit Kapuche Glacier Lake, which is regarded as the lowest-altitude glacier lake in the world, which is a significant highlight of this walk. Most glacial lakes are found above 4,000 meters in elevation, however, this lake is 2,546 meters above sea level.
