Mohare Danda Trek

Overview

One of the least popular short treks from Pokhara is the Mohare Danda Trek. It is a wonderful way to escape city life and experience the countryside. The Mohare Danda (3300 m above sea level) is situated next to the Ghorepani Poon hill in a gorge between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Mohare Danda Trek is a secret picturesque hill not too far from the major and well-traveled route of Ghorepani Poon Hill, where trekkers can take in a panoramic view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu Himalaya ranges. featuring breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset reflected over a variety of Himalayan peaks, including the spectacular Mount Machhapuchare.

Itinerary

6-7 hours drive to Patichaur, then stay over night at Lespar.

About 5-6 hours trek from Lespar to Mohare Danda.

Trek from Mohare Danda to pass by Poon Hill and stay over night at Sawata.

Trek from Sawata to Bayali for 5-6 hours and stay over night.

Walk from Tadapani to Ghandruk. Then drive back to Pokhara.
