Mardi Himal Trek

5 Days

Overview

The 4-day Mardi Himal walk in the Annapurna region offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range and is both difficult and gorgeous. It is currently a pretty well-known journey that many hikers take, but it is still less well-known than the popular Everest Base Camp trek or Annapurna Circuit trek.

Where most people would typically embark on the trip to Annapurna Base Camp, you get to travel off the beaten path and around the corner of the map if you choose this trek. Few trekkers travel to the beautifully situated Mardi Himal Base Camp, which is at the base of Mardi Himal and Mount Machapuchhre, the most recognizable mountain in the Annapurna region.

The trail winds through enchanting rhododendron forests on narrow, serpentine roads until you get out of the woodland at a height of about 3,300 meters. A high mountainous terrain with breathtaking views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli suddenly appears in the background.
